Bontan Ame Candy - Okinawa Pineapple

This is a fantastic Okinawa regional version of a popular Japanese candy. A very traditional candy best known for its dissolving, edible potato starch paper wrapper. These chewy jellies have a nice pineapple citrus flavor and are sweetened perfectly just like the Kyushu bontan fruit. This is a mini 8 piece pack. 40 grams

These are sometimes known as Botan without the 'n' in overseas versions, however these on napaJapan are the original! There are regional versions available at certain times of the year. We hope to have those available for you soon.
